The National Film & TV Awards USA was officially launched in 2018 by the National Film Academy as part of its expanding global footprint. The awards honour the best in American film and television, celebrating talent across all platforms — from cinema to streaming, primetime series to breakthrough performances.

As with all editions of the National Film Awards globally, the USA version is entirely public-voted, giving fans across America a powerful voice in recognising the filmmakers, storytellers, and entertainers who move culture forward.

A Historic Launch

The inaugural National Film & TV Awards USA in 2018 featured one of television’s most iconic figures — Larry King — who was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his extraordinary contribution to journalism and broadcasting.
